Event description

Description

Have you ever deliberated on what to include or highlight in the ‘Evidence of research impact and contributions to the field’ section of a research application? Writing a persuasive research impact/contribution statement is fundamental to the success of any research submission. Raw impact metric data can often be an unwieldy set of statistics or information. Learn how you can cherry pick the tasty bits and sell your research capability and expertise.

This will be a hands-on workshop looking at your impact metric data from both within and outside the academy. You will walk away with a (draft) impact/contribution statement for use in a diverse range of research submissions.

Ensure you book early as places are limited. The library will supply raw impact metric data for all participants to use in the workshop, however, time is needed for this to be prepared.

Presented by Susan Robbins, Research Services Coordinator and Nikki Lengkeek, Manager, Manager, Grants & Researcher Development
