Event description

Description

What: Argentinean culture - and Cordoba in particular - has always been rife with social unrest, protests and demonstrations. Get to know a photography collective that focuses on following around these social "tornadoes" and capturing them with their lens, and challenge your views with a workshop on photography storytelling.

What to bring: Something to write on if you want to take notes.

How we're getting there: Meet us at the Museum at 2 pm (right across from La Maquinita!)

Food & Drinks: Not available

Wifi: Not available

POC: Coca O'Donnell

The Why I At the turn of the 20th century Argentina was the tenth most powerful economy in the world - and has since then fallen into economic and political havoc due to internal and external corruption and extremely poor management.

Cordobeses today are confronted everyday with multiple challenges in order to run a business, make economic and professional progress, or just plain live in our city (hey, it's Latin America, we know it's hard, we're dealing with it ¯\_(ツ)_/¯)
Nevertheless, it's amazing to see how Cordobeses figure out ways to collaborate, come together, and beat the odds as a community.

The Impact I Joining this track will help you answer the question "How do people live in these conditions?" and show you many different ways Cordobeses band together to overcome obstacles such as lack of resources, discrimination and wounds of our past.
