Do you want to try incorporating citizen science projects into your classroom? For teachers from years 2-10 .

About this event

Do you want to try incorporating citizen science projects into your classroom?

Teachers from years 2-10 will have the opportunity to learn about citizen science, have a go at collecting data and adding it to the NSW Litter index database through the webtool "Local Litter Check" and see first hand how citizen science can be a powerful learning opportunity for waste reduction and sustainability in the ACT.

Explore a variety of materials and resources to inspire and support school citizen science activities and develop understandings about how we can manage our resources and waste for a sustainable future.

Join us for a fun session of exploration and learning along the banks of LakeTuggeranong.

This workshop is free and TQI accredited for teachers from the ACT and surrounds.

Please bring along your reusable drink bottles, hats, covered shoes and curiosity. We will provide all safety equipment and tools.

Please contact us if you need to access the disabled parking bays or the automated stair lift.
