Northern Foothills Land Care Group invite you to an information session for anyone wanting to understand;

 Common plants found in paddocks that can be toxic to stock
 The effects on stock from ingesting these plants and how to recognise toxicity
 Strategies to prevent problems

The Guest Speakers

Dr Sandy and Bill Harbison veterinarians and farmers with over 30 years’ experience in the local area. Both Bill and Sandy enjoy teaching and sharing their interest and extensive knowledge in large animal nutrition and medicine. “It’s all about pasture management and understanding your animals’ needs, eating habits and preferences.”

Will Hannaford Natural Resources Adelaide and Mount Lofty Ranges District Officer with many years’ experience works with rural landholders assisting with best practice land management and weed control advice. Will lives on a rural property in the hills running a small herd of cows and practicing what he preaches!!
After hearing from our guest speakers enjoy meeting other like-minded people over a delicious supper.

Cost: $5 donation at the door to help with venue hire and catering.
