Description

To celebrate National Science Week, University of Wollongong researchers at Innovation Campus will open the doors to their labs to welcome visitors.

Enjoy a tour of world-class research labs and learn from friendly researchers about their cutting-edge research:

  • 3D BioPrinting – printing parts for bodies

  • Nerve and muscle regeneration

  • The soft robotics, prosthetic hand

  • The Bionic Bra that responds to breast movement when needed

IPRI is the lead node for the ARC Centre of Excellence for Electromaterial Science (ACES) and Materials node of the Australian National Fabrication Facility (ANFF).

Tours run for 30 mins between 9am and 4pm. Tour participants must be 12 years or older and be wearing flat, fully enclosed shoes to gain entry into the labs.
