Event description
Toons 4 Wildlife - Opening night. A Fundraising Cartoon Exhibition for WIRES.

About this Event

We invite you to join us for opening night... mingle, have a laugh and enjoy the works of this fabulous exhibition. Opening address will be delivered by the NSW Commissioner of Resilience - Shane Fitzsimmons! Shane continues to inspire and support all affected during this crisis and it is an absolute privilege to have such an honourable man at this event. Also joining us on opening night will be Adam from Reptile World with some of his scaley friends in tow!

Mark from TIPPETTURES rallied our Aussie cartoonists together to assist after the devastating fires earlier in the year by creating this fundraising exhibition for WIRES. A selection of these works will be auctioned online with all proceeds going directly to WIRES. The National Cartoon Gallery is proud to be invited as part of this great initiative by having all works on display in the gallery until 22 November when they will be shipped off to their new homes.

Complimenting the Toons 4 Wildlife works on the walls of the gallery are a collection of Aussie Wildlife cartoons from the gallery’s impressive collection.

Tickets are limited, please reserve your place by purchasing here. Price includes entry, free animal encounter and nibbles. Cash bar provided.
