Event Details

We are used to thinking about migration in terms of who comes, and from which countries. But since the beginning of European colonisation of Australia, migration has been a matter of government regulation. Who can (and cannot) enter, how long they can stay, and on what conditions, have been determined by changing policies that have often been the subject of heated debate.

Join us at the Migration Museum for a screening of our new short film which uses data visualisation to show who has come to South Australia from the 1860s to the present, and for a talk which explores some of the exclusions that have occurred in the same time period. Stay and join in the discussion – which might even turn into debate.

Bookings essential - $5 entry by donation

Parking available on Torrens Parade Ground, off Victoria Drive.
