Exhibition Overview: Timeless Reverie

In an age consumed by speed and innovation, Timeless Reverie offers a quiet invitation to pause and look back. This collection of nostalgic architecture, cherished collectibles, and food traditions pays tribute to enduring craftsmanship, cultural heritage, and the layered stories embedded in the objects and rituals of the past.

Each piece stands as a witness to memory — found in the weathered details of an old shopfront, the patina of a well-loved keepsake, or the comforting familiarity of a shared meal. Together, they evoke lives once lived, moments once savoured, and the unspoken narratives that continue to shape who we are.

Through Timeless Reverie, I hope to build a bridge between past and present — inviting viewers into a shared reflection that connects us across time through beauty, creativity, and emotional memory. These works are not merely depictions of what once was; they are keepers of history and tradition, gently urging us to pause, reflect, and remember.

The exhibition runs: 3 December - 30 January 2026

Opening Celebration: 6 pm on Wednesday, December 3, 2025

A Pint of Yesterday

About Dairie Chan

Dairie Chan is a self-taught watercolour artist and illustrator based in Sydney, Australia. With a lifelong curiosity for culture, travel, and history, Dairie draws inspiration from the beauty found in life’s quiet moments — from the charm of weathered architecture and treasured heirlooms to the warmth of a shared meal.

Her work combines a soft, subtle palette with a refined painting technique that conveys emotion through detail and restraint. Each piece captures the poetry of nostalgia, transforming ordinary scenes into visual stories that speak of memory, heritage, and the passage of time.

Dairie’s art celebrates craftsmanship and authenticity, reflecting her fascination with the layers of history that shape a place, an object, or a moment. Through her watercolours, she invites viewers to pause amid modern life’s pace, to feel a sense of belonging, and to rediscover the simple beauty of what endures.
