Tie Dye Pillowcases: Bright, Fun, DIY

Tuesday 22nd January 9.30am - 12pm.

Your new year bedroom makeover starts here with this fun workshop! Release your inner designer with the hands on creative experience of making your own set of tie dyed pillowcases and bunting in fun colours. You will wrap, scrunch, stitch, and pleat your way to create a colourful set of pillowcases, learning lots of exciting tie dye techniques. This workshop is for 10 years and over. Cost is $25 includes pillowcases, dyes and materials. Note: please wear old clothing for this activity.

ABOUT

Tutor Lorina Dufty is a qualified Visual Arts High school teacher (Dip. Art Ed. Hons.) with more than 20years experience in the teaching of the creative arts. In addition to secondary school teaching, Lorina has conducted numerous holiday art workshops in NSW & Victoria and taught adult art at TAFE colleges. Although currently retired from the NSW Department of Education, Lorina recently delivered junior art programs at Grafton Shopping World and the Grafton Regional Gallery. Over the years Lorina has won numerous awards for her teaching and art work across various creative 2D & 3D disciplines and continues to practice and pursue professional development and engagement.
