Ripped clothes and don't know what to do with it? Join this workshop!

WHAT:

In this workshop you will learn the basics of free-hand embroidery techniques, specifically selected for repairing and up-cycling clothing. Do you have a hole in a shirt? A ripped jeans maybe? Or you just want to upgrade your wardrobe? Then this is the perfect workshop for you! You will learn how to disguise flawes or accent them with the main goal of contributing to sustainable fashion. You will need to bring your own clothes. Pieces that are not stretchy or elastic will work the best. The rest of the materials are provided for you. You will learn about different fabrics, materials and techniques to become an at-home-upcycle genius.

WHERE:

The event will take place in the lobby of The Student Hotel Maastricht, so please meet Mare at the lobby bar at 2:00 PM sharp.
