Thriving in a Digital Age

Free public talk for National Psychology Week with Dr Jo Mitchell

Over 16 million Australians own a smart phone - this technology is thriving, but are we? The impact of mobile technologies on our mental health is a hotly debated issue. This talk will highlight some of the current thinking in this space and showcase examples of digital technology intended to cultivate wellbeing and resilience.

Dr Jo Mitchell is a clinical psychologist and co-founder of The Mind Room, a health, wellbeing and performance psychology community in Melbourne. She completed her PhD in positive psychology and technology. She is project leader for a Movember Foundation funded and AFL Player led wellbeing and resilience digital project. You can download MindMax on the app store now.

Please register below to join us for this FREE one hour public talk with Q&A afterwards.

Organised by the Positive Psychology Interest Group in association with the Australian Psychological Society Positive Psychology Interest Group.
