Three Views Hike & Easy Paddle with Picnic Lunch ~ Kangaroo Valley Full Day // Sun 19th Jan 9am - 5pm

JOIN US, On this eco tour of the wonderfully beautiful Kangaroo River & Moreton National Park. Paddling the still, open water, enjoy the serene bush environment of Moreton National Park, with its endless supply of wildlife. Experience water dragons, birdlife, wallabies, platypus & much more........

We are so excited to host this event which is suitable for everyone with an adventurous spirit.

Featuring: Lush Forested Areas, Historic Areas, Farm Land, Wildlife, Morning Tea, Picnic Lunch, Kayaking Eco Tour, Swimming, Great Company.

Grade: Easy ~ suitable for beginners or above. No experience needed. Instruction will be given.

Walking Speed: Relaxed pace, we will be stopping as needed

Driving: Kangaroo Valley is approximately 2.5hrs from the CBD & 2hrs from the Sutherland Shire

What's Included: Morning tea & light picnic lunch, qualified guide, first aid, safety briefing, licensing, PFD's

Distance: Hike 9.5km ~ Paddle 5km

Cost: $140 incl gst. Deposit $45 T & Cs apply* remaining payment of $95 due 14 days from booking date


MEET: 9.00 am at Kangaroo Valley Safaris ~ 2031 Moss Vale Rd Kangaroo Valley

PADDLE ~ Easy 5km return

  • Meeting at Kangaroo Safaris for our safety briefing we make our way to Bendeela.

  • After a short safety briefing from your guide we hit the river in our single kayaks, there will also be optional double kayaks for parents bringing a child or if you wish to share with a friend. We can sort that all out on arrival.

  • Eco tour paddling, will take us along the Kangaroo River & into the spectacular Moreton National Park, looking out for wildlife along the way, this is such a diverse environment with a multitude of birdlife, water fauna & ever changing flora along the river bank. We will stop for a short morning tea stop along the banks of the Kangaroo River.

  • Paddling distance will be approximately 5km plus, distance will depend on the group fitness level. We move at a pace that is suitable for everyone in the group. Water is still & tranquil to paddle on

HIKE ~ Easy 9.5km return ~ 3 to 3.5hrs depending on group pace

  • Following our paddle we change into our hiking gear & drive roughly 20minutes to Tallowa Dam to enjoy a relaxing delicious picnic lunch including a hot cuppa, on the banks of the river

  • After lunch we commence our Three Views hike.

  • Hiking is on an easy trail mostly flat, along the Brooks Plateau & Moolatoo Trig, lush with blooming wildflowers. The views from the lookouts are incredible of Lake Yarrunga, Moreton National Park, Tallowa Dam, Shoalhaven River & Gorge.

FINISH: 4.30 - 5pm depending on the groups pace


  • This event is for Women & Men & children over 12 yrs

  • GRADE: Easy ~ Flat water kayaking & hike

  • You must be able to swim to attend this event ( this is a compulsory safety measure )

  • Children over 12yrs must be accompanied by a parent & be able to swim 100mtrs. Parents are responsible to supervise their own children not your guide. Thank you kindly

You Need To Bring:

  • 2 - 3ltrs water

  • Bag with spare dry clothes ~ can be left in the car to chang into when we are finished

  • Closed in shoes like reef walkers or old joggers ( this protects your feet from injury should you step on something in the water or on the bank)

  • Comfortable clothing for hiking quick dry is best

  • Comfortable closed in shoes hiking shoes or joggers

  • Gloves ( bike gloves are great ) these grip the paddle making it easier ~ OPTIONAL

  • Personal Meds

  • Camera

  • Sunscreen

  • Sunhat

  • Towel

  • Camera

  • Layers ( it can become cold sometimes even in summer if your wet for a long time )

  • Rain Jacket - ( event is on in the rain )

REFUND POLICY: T&C's apply *

We provide a refund less 50% (incl $45 non refundable deposit) of the full amount plus booking fee up to 8 days before event. There is no refund given from day 7 or less before event, due to catering, licensing & tour costs that we have to pay from our end. Your ticket however may be transferred to another person who wishes to join us, we must be notified. No shows, no refund.

If we have to cancel event due to dangerous weather conditions or bush fire you will be notified the night before or early morning of event & a choice to reshedule or a full refund will be given.
