Register now for this online NESA Registered PD where we will unpack the theory and make connections across the Y11 Chemistry syllabus.
About this Event
This workshop is designed for teachers new to teaching Year 11 Chemistry plus those who would like to refamiliarise themselves with the content, background theory and make connections across the different modules of the Year 11 Chemistry syllabus. We will be unpacking:
- Properties and Structures of Matter
- Introduction to Quantitative Chemistry
- Reactive Chemistry
- Drivers of Reactions
- Opportunities for Depth Studies
In addition, we will connect the 'assumed knowledge' to the HSC syllabus.
Endorsement
Completing Theory for Y11 Chemistry Teachers on 7 December 2020 will contribute 4 hours of NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) Registered PD addressing 2.1.2 and 6.3.2 from the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers towards maintaining Proficient Teacher Accreditation in NSW.
