Event description

Description

Professor Emeritus Anthony Gittins CSSP will lead us through a discussion on how staff working in a Catholic secondary college can more effectively contextualise the Gospel to help them meet the needs of students in a modern classroom. The discussion will examine contemporary national debates around key issues such as euthanasia, refugee policy, the energy debate and same sex marriage. Professor Gittins will also draw upon Gospel writings around hospitality and inclusion and apply these writings directly in the context of a Catholic secondary school.

The seminar will feature highly interactive workshops with group discussion.
