Event description
Hear how Western Victoria can thrive from wind energy, from community groups, local business, wind energy experts and industry specialists.

About this Event

As the wind energy boom and renewable energy transition continues around regional Victoria - a key question is: how can we make the most of this transition to empower our communities?

The Australian Wind Alliance will launch their updated report, "Building Stronger Communities: Wind's growing role in regional Australia", which looks into the community benefits, jobs and investment that wind energy brings to the regions.

We'll hear from wind industry experts, local businesses, community groups, farmers and wind farm community fund managers in a panel event.

Light refreshments served at 6:30 pm - panel begins at 7:30 pm
