The West Australian ECU 2017 Lecture Series featuring Professor Di Twigg

In the first lecture in this series, Nurses, you can’t live without them, Professor Di Twigg will explore the role of the nurse in the acute and complex healthcare environment of today.
Di Twigg, Professor of Nursing and Dean of ECU’s School of Nursing and Midwifery, will present the latest research findings on those factors that enable nurses to keep patients safe and prevent adverse outcomes. She will also outline the consequence of not putting those factors in place and examine some of the policy and economic challenges in implementing the evidence.
