Many businesses are starting to learn that fast-changing work roles and environments are being reflected just as quickly in shifting workplace skills needs. In this context, the exposure of students to authentic work environments is highly effective at increasing work readiness.

There are numerous examples of employers taking on tertiary students in placements, or accessing students to undertake useful projects or provide consultancy work – all aimed at solving a company's problem. And these arrangements haven't stopped as a result of COVID-19 – many have switched online and are achieving great results for businesses.

This webinar will discuss what is happening globally around such arrangements, known as work-integrated learning or cooperative education. Are other countries doing more than Australia? How are businesses benefitting? And what are some examples?
