As Don Norman would have it: "User experience encompasses all aspects of the end-user's interaction with the company, its services, and its products."
IxDA in collaboration with the Faculty of Architecture, Design, and Planning at Sydney University are hosting this Experience Design panel discusion as part of Innovation Week at Sydney University and Spark Festival.
IxDA Sydney brings together a handful of experienced creators to help you shape your next big idea into something with traction. Too often a great idea arrives without the user included in the decision-making process. How often have you seen great ideas and powerful technology let down without a cogent experience arranged for the user. (Wave anyone?) Alongside a great business idea with a solid technical platform, good user experience is key to a winning product and requires as much constant attention as the other two.
The central theme of this panel discussion is a gathering of experts in UX from across the field, from small startup to established players supporting large organisation , to discuss what design activities a fledgeling idea needs to be engaging, useful, and above all, successful.
