The Upbeat Retreat is a unique blend of workshops and classes that have been designed to nourish your mind, body and soul, treating you to a truly refreshing (not to mention really fun!) and inspiring day-in.

Join us at the stunning Abbotsford Convent and treat yourself to this amazing one-day experience that will leave you feeling uplifted, relaxed and rejuvenated from the inside and out.

Your day at The Upbeat Retreat will include:

Yoga & Live Acoustic Music with One Life Yoga & Trent Balthazaar
This 50 minute vinyasa yoga class with the lovely One Life Yoga welcomes everybody from experienced yogi's to those who have never tried a class. This beautiful flow will be accompanied by the soulful acoustic sounds of Trent Balthazaar, a unique voice that will ground you throughout the class.

Meditation & Mantras with Kat John
In this class you'll experience how good it feels to let go of the worries, stressors and things that make you feel anxious so that you can chill, connect in and feel amazing from the inside out! You will be taken through 3 meditation techniques with a focus on mantra's as Kat shows you just how powerful meditation can be in just one sitting. Whether you're new to meditation or a total pro, come and experience Kat's unique approach to medtiation.

Lunch with KOJA
Hear from KOJA founder Kate Johansson as she talks about the "Real Food. Feel Better" philosophy and shares simple healthy eating tips that you can easily incorporate into your day! You will be welcomed to try their nourishing food toppers, followed by some chill time to enjoy your food, chat to your mates and/or connect with other lovely guests!

Laughter Yoga (note: this is not a yoga class!) with Emily Paterson
Don't expect to find yourself in any downward dog poses in this class! Laughter Yoga is about having fun by embracing your inner child and connecting with the group through a series of mini activities that will have you moving around & laughing your heart out - we guarantee it. Emily is a trained teacher and Laughter Yoga facilitator who always creates the perfect space to ensure that everyone enjoys this amazing class!

Create Your Own Thrive Board with Bloom Anchor
Create your very own Thrive Board (otherwise known as a Mood or Inspiration Board) and enjoy each mindful second of getting back to the basics of creativity and inspiration. We will start with a lovely, short activity to get inspiration flowing and then using a corkboard, magazines and scissors you will have plenty of time to create your unique layout that will be used to encourage you to thrive and be the best version of you!
