Description

What are the key issues facing local governments installing and running solar?

As new technologies emerge, this free, half-day session is an ideal way to ensure you're up to speed and making the most of your solar systems. Includes:

Does your solar installation meet Australian Standards? Udayan Bhanot, from iEnergytech, on the common problems with solar installations and the difference it makes to performance of systems.

What are the emerging battery standards and what do they mean for local government systems? Glen Morris, from SolarQuip, outlines the standards and why councils need to plan for these.

Where are my best solar assets? Renate Egan from the APVI will talk about using data to make smart decisions on energy investments.

Can you sell your STCs and claim carbon neutral generation from solar? Indy Lingam, City of Yarra, leads a discussion.

The session is presented by the Northern Alliance for Greenhouse Action and is kindly hosted by the City of Yarra. It is suitable for local government officers only and the organisers reserve the right to refuse admission.

Includes morning tea.
