On February 12th, we offer you one day of letting the world swirl around outside as we explore 'the space within' at the beautiful and serene Prana House.
As the new year begins to unfold, we'll be dedicating some time and space to slowing down and practicing the art of compassion. This ancient approach to mindfulness provides us with the mechanisms that we need to stay calm and centred when our external worlds become busy and full.
'The Space Within' is a daylong journey designed to explore different forms of meditation, movement and holistic life practices that can be enjoyed and deepen our self understanding. We'll be experiencing the healing vibrations of sound, the rejuvenating practices of yin and yang yoga, the warming practice of yoga nidra, and the cleansing processes of seated meditation.
You don't need to be an experienced yoga practitioner to join us. This day is all about finding ways to practice presence that feel comfortable and authentic for you. Come explore the art of releasing noise, busyness and cloudiness in order to reconnect with the space within.
What we’ll be doing:
Well start the day at 8.30am with intention setting, silent meditation, yoga and pranyama.
We break silence at lunchtime for a walk and lunch.
Our afternoon session will include yoga nidra, journaling and more meditation with the extra layer of sound to bathe in.
We’ll conclude at 3pm with some chai and time to get grounded before embarking on the rest of your weekend.
