Event Details

Listen to spiritual insights about the scarcity issue facing our world today. Evening also consists of mantra meditation music and vegetarian dinner.

Saturday Life Talk : 23 Nov 13, 6pm - 8pm
Topic : The Scarcity Myth
Speaker : Nanda Mandir Das

Interesting what Wikipedia says, "Scarcity is the fundamental economic problem of having seemingly unlimited human wants and needs in a world of limited resources. It states that society has insufficient productive resources to fulfill all human wants and needs. Alternatively, scarcity implies that not all of society's goals can be pursued at the same time; trade-offs are made of one good against others"

But what the ancient scriptures say about this issue? How does a spiritually inclined person view the problem?
