The Big HOO-HAA! Melbourne drops an occupational hip hop odyssey.

About this event

Melbourne’s best loved improvised comedy group has always had the music in them… but now, they’re bringing the beats as well.

Rap About It is a full-length improvised hip hop musical where your suggestions are king. Be they barista or barrister, pawnbroker or stockbroker, the starring character is ready to fight their way to the very top of their profession – no matter what occupational hazards they find in their way. And of course, like any good tale of ambition and drive, Rap About It takes place against a backdrop of hip hop rhythms and quick-fire rhymes…

Three nights, three occupations, three stories. This August, lose yourself in an improvised rap opera presented by some of Melbourne’s fastest and slickest improvising comedians.

“They’re quick, they throw in pop culture references, they find impossible rhymes and they collaborate on the spot.” – Stage Whispers
