The Safety Project young people's focus group 15 November
Have you got ideas about what helps you to be safe? Are you a young person aged 16-25 and living with a disability? Would you like to talk to us about your ideas?
If you said yes, you might like to be in our research, called The Safety Project.
Our research is about what helps young people with disability feel and be safe. Not many young people have had a say about this. We really want to know what you think.
In the focus groups we will talk with young people about the people and places help them to feel and be safe. We will sometimes use photos or draw maps instead of just talking. If you don’t want to meet in a group, we can come and talk to you on your own instead.
If you have a question, please give us a ring. We would love to talk about the project with you! Our phone number is 02 6620 3062. If you have access to the internet you can also email us at firstname.lastname@example.org, or check out our website at www.thesafetyproject.net.
How will your information be used?
When everyone has finished talking, we will add up all the information and write a report. We won’t use your name in the report, so your information will be kept private. We will make the report easy for young people to read. We can send you one. We will also tell the government about what young people think is important about being safe.
