The Rural Plan Consultation Forum Round 2_Bairnsdale

Dear Health Services:

The Department of Health and Human Services is developing the State-wide Design, Service and Infrastructure Plan to guide Victoria's healthcare system over the next 20 years, with an initial 5 year action plan.

The Rural Plan will support and inform the Statewide Plan on configuration of Victoria's rural and regional health system, opportunities and challenges faced by the community.

Based on your feedback from the phase one consultation forum, Deloitte developed a Discussion Paper that outlines key opportunities and challenges in planning services in Rural and Regional Victoria. The second stage consultation process will be focusing on the operationalization of the key themes:
1) Strengthening and support for regional and rural partnerships -role of partnership ;
2) Clinical governance partnership arrangement;
3) Service system planning and enablers;

There will be interactive components in this forum with open discussion sections, therefore, it is a great opportunity to share your ideas with your peers.

A light lunch will be provided after the forum closure so come and network with colleagues that are also passionate about shaping Victoria's future healthcare landscape. You will be joined at the lunch by consumers, carers and community representatives who will be participating in their own constitution on the key themes.
