The revised Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework (VEYLDF) – Strengthening programs and practice
The revised VEYLDF reflects current research, practice and policy about how professionals working in the early years can enhance children’s learning and development.
The updated framework strengthens existing elements such as the practice principles, learning outcomes and transitions. It also provides greater emphasis on the importance of children’s health, critical periods such as birth to three years, respect for Aboriginal culture and responsiveness to vulnerable and disadvantaged children and families.
This session will assist participants to understand the key changes, become more familiar with the core elements and reflect on how the revised framework can be embedded in programs and practice.
Suitable for educator, teachers and other early childhood professionals
