The Queensland Cultural Centre: then, now and new
🎥 This event will also be streamed live here: https://livestream.com/qldstatearchives/events/9523061
For Queenslanders the Queensland Cultural Centre plays a central place in our experience and memories of living in and visiting Brisbane. With the construction of a new theatre underway by Brisbane firm Blight Rayner Architecture with Norwegian practice Snøhetta, this latest addition gives us the opportunity to revisit the aspirations of Robin Gibson’s original Cultural Centre, while we look forward to the evolution of this iconic precinct.
Join us and a panel of architects including Michael Rayner, Ruth Woods and Dr Deborah van der Plaat with moderator, Lloyd Jones.
