The Quarantones Weekly Singing Session
Event Information
About this Event
Welcome to The Quarantones!
We're a free choir set up to help combat the effects of isolation during the pandemic - and sing a few bangers.
Every Tuesday evening we'll be tackling a classic pop, rock, or musical theatre song. *Everyone* is welcome and no experience is necessary (really!) - just rock up ready to give your vocal chords a workout. Easy.
What to expect
This isn't a super-technical session; it's a chance to come together as an online community to create the kind of magic only music can produce.
Along the way we'll be learning a few tips and tricks you can use to lift your voice to the next level.
Sound good? Register for free today for our next session. Can't wait to see you!
About me
I’m an Australian soprano and graduate of the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, where I completed a Bachelor of Music Studies and Graduate Diploma in Voice (Pedagogy). Currently based in London (I came for the weather), I work as a freelance singer, voice teacher and choral director at some of London's leading schools.
I’ve performed in opera, cabaret and theatre across the world, including the Royal Albert Hall in London, the Manhattan School of Music in New York, and the Operestate Festival in Bassano del Grappa (Italy).
