Action on Aboriginal Perspectives in Early Childhood (AAPEC) presents The Possum Skin Pedagogy Professional Learning Project

This is an Association of Graduates in Early Childhood Studies (AGECS) funded project for practitioners working
directly with children. The program will be lead by Annette Sax, a Taungurung woman and early childhood consultant, and Denise Rundle, an experienced early childhood practitioner, with input from Victorian Aboriginal Elders and senior community members.

The learning project also comprises on-line discussions, reflective dialogues, and completing a professional learning project around implementing and evaluating what you have learnt during the sessions and how this knowledge impacts on your teaching.

Participants will attend four face-to-face sessions in Pascoe Vale from 9.30am-12.30pm on the following dates:

  • Session 1: Friday 27 July 2018

  • Session 2: Friday 17 August 2018

  • Session 3: Friday 14 September 2018

  • Session 4: Friday 16 November 2018
