Join us for a free screening of The Polar Express! A special Christmas movie celebration on Civic Park, Modbury. The movie will commence at approximately 8:30pm, depending on sunset time. Delicious food vendors will be on site to cater to all of your dinner and movie snack needs!

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the event will be for ticketholders only and a fenced event. One lucky group will be randomly drawn as our 'golden ticket' holders and receive priority seating in the 'gold grass' area on the night.

Tickets for the event must be pre booked will not be available at the gate. Every guest attending must have an entry ticket.

Your ticket will include an entry time, a 45-minute window in which you and your group will need to arrive and enter the event area on Civic Park. This is to prevent any congestion at the entrances to the event. Please enter during your allocated ticket time and at the designated entrance point. See entrance locations on the map below. Gate 1 is opposite Westfield near the playground and Gate 2 is opposite Sferas at the top of Civic Park.

Event FAQs

• This is an alcohol free event.
• Civic Park Movies - The Polar Express will operate within COVID Safe event principles.
• We ask that you please play your part and help us be COVID Safe by practising proper hand hygiene; adhering to physical distancing by maintaining 1.5m from others at all times; and staying home if you feel unwell, have had contact with someone being tested for COVID-19 or are waiting for COVID-19 test results.
• All food vendor transactions will be cashless, so please bring your card rather than cash. Refreshments are required to be taken back to your seating area to consume.
• You will be required to ‘check in’ upon arrival using the South Australian Government’s official COVID SAfe Check-In process. This involves scanning a QR code upon arrival. These QR codes will be displayed at each entrance. If you do not have a smartphone, there will be a limited number of paper contact tracing forms available.
• This event is being held in accordance with SA Health directions and has an approved COVID Management Plan in place. COVID Marshals will be in attendance.
