In this installation we aim to highlight examples of "becoming" - slow processes of hard work that yield beautiful and complex results. This is something we see to monumental degree in flowers, ancient sites and artisanal crafts, to name a few of the common themes we centre in our pursuit of making. Through these processes we are reminded of our responsibility to create sincerely and consciously, to ensure our contribution is one of quality and compliment. We seek abstract influences to reaffirm our ethos - the art of poetry being key. This project aims to honour this practice by combining pottery and poesy to create a thoughtful setting in which we will present our 2022 collection.
