Event description

Description

Where do you go to navigate your way through the uncertainties of parenting in Hobart? Where do you even start? The hospitals? Google? Yes there'll be some info there.

But, truth be told, it's hard to find all the services out there and not every caregiver can possibly know each service available and what your individual needs might be. Google definitely doesn't have the answers, as it's actually pretty damn hard to build a good online presence these days and let's face it, not all of us want to spend our every waking hour building an online presence. And whatever happened to good old fashioned community?

You can't beat a conversation face to face. Listening and engaging with someone who has something different to say. Getting inspired, trusting your instinct, preparing your body and mind, as best as you can for the birth of your baby, for the birth of you as parent, for the ongoing support, the village you need to raise your child.

On Sunday 10 September from 10am - 3pm at the Waterside Pavillion on the Hobart Wharf, you're going to be:

  • BLOWN AWAY by the passionista of birth and motherhood Angela Gallo - Doula & Birth Photographer - we are honoured and indebted with gratitude to welcome her to Hobart, to shake up Hobart and help you connect with your birthing and parent instinct. You'll be hanging on to her every word. Head over to her page if you haven't already and see how she's shaking up the birth world
