Arts Access Victoria is proud to present our seventh festival celebrating the lived experience of disability through compelling cinema. Come and celebrate The Other Film Festival 2016’s opening night with a forum discussion and special screening.
Panel discussion: Is Australian television more diverse than our film industry?
Featuring leading thinkers on cultural participation, CEO of Arts Access Australia Emma Bennison, award-winning filmmaker Sofya Gollan, acclaimed actor Kate Hood, Executive Director of Arts and Disability Ireland Padraig Naughton. Moderated by all-round provocateur Kath Duncan.

Will this event be accessible?
The Other Film Festival is committed to universal access. All sessions will be Auslan interpreted and have hearing loops available, all films will be audio described and captioned, all public areas of the Festival are wheelchair accessible and guide dogs are welcome in all areas of the Festival. If you have specific access requirements, please advise when booking your ticket.
