Join Kaurna elders and Conscious Lifestyles on a culinary and cultural journey into the original foodies of the Adelaide plains, featuring South Australian local native & wild food and historic Patritti wine at the Living Kaurna Cultural Centre, Marion. Be welcomed to country by Kaurna representatives lead by Frank Wanganeen, and enjoy a morning tea with local native ingredients, before a cultural walking tour of Warriparinga to discover the bush food and medicines that grow there. Return to a 4 course-equivalent shared lunch, including traditionally-cooked food & other native, wild, and local fare accompanied by 3 glasses of local wine from Patritti wines. Learn new cultural skills in optional basket weaving with Aboriginal craftswomen.
