The Rebel. The Recluse. The Princess. The Prisoner. The Academic. The Actor. The Grommet. The Ghost.
One Night for their lives to collide in the darkness.
One Night that will create cracks where the light gets in.
One Night to acknowledge their own darkness.
One Night to shine brightly.
One Night to Find the Light.
“Sometimes I need you. It’s like I’m the moth and you’re the moon. And sometimes you need me. We need each other is what I’m trying to say. I can’t do it alone and neither can you.” - Kirra
This inspirational piece of theatre by Goat Track Theatre places the concerns of young people centre stage once more, exploring what keeps them up at night and how they might find their way out of the darkness and into the light. It is the outcome of a 12-month community arts and cultural development project that worked alongside more than 100 young people to explore the things that keep young people “up at night”. The result is an intimate multi- generational performance that speaks to us all.
*NB This play contains COURSE LANGUAGE and ADULT THEMES and is recommended for a MA15+ audience. Please contact the event organiser for more details.
