Palliative Care Queensland (PCQ) in collaboration with The Centre for Palliative Care Research and Education (CPCRE) present: The most targeted therapy of all - Palliative Care in the era of Immunotherapy 


Bio: Dr Ben Gunawan is a final year trainee in both palliative medicine and medical oncology, whose passion for palliative care has grown steadily since he fell in love with it during his first year of medical school.  His interests include palliative cancer care, the interface of palliative medicine and medical oncology and improving the equitable delivery and awareness of palliative care.  Ben resides in Brisbane with his hematologist-wife, Mimi and their daughter Alexis (who at five months, is too young to be a doctor).

This event is free for PCQ individual members & videoconference sites and $15 for non-PCQ members at the Brisbane site

PCQ - Palliative Care Queensland is an independent not-for-profit peak body representing palliative care providers, consumers and their families and those with an interest in palliative care in Queensland.

CPCREThe Centre for Palliative Care Research and Education (CPCRE) was established by Queensland Health in 2001 to enhance palliative care services in Queensland through education and research. Palliative care is an approach that improves quality of life of patients and their families facing problems associated with life threatening illness, through prevention of suffering by early identification, and impeccable assessment and treatment of, pain and other problems, physical, psychological and spiritual, allowing people a dignified death.
