The Memory Room Workshops
Event Information
About this Event
You are invited to take part in the Memory Room workshops at Newcastle Libraries.
Art therapist, Alice Ropata, will draw upon images and items from our Local Studies collection and current exhibitions from the Lovett Gallery to enable the participant to take a journey back in time.
A photograph can evoke much more than a memory. The images in the Memory Room will encourage conversation, share stories, laughter and connection.
We tailor the one-hour sessions for people living with dementia and their carers.

Unfortunately, we won’t have space for drop ins. If you are unwell, or someone in your household is unwell, please stay home. If you cannot make it to a program please cancel your ticket, so someone else can join in the fun.
