The Magic White's Seahorse
Event Information
About this event
Discover the rare and majestic White Seahorse...
The White's Seahorse is an endangered seahorse species found on the East coast of Australia.
The seahorse populations have declined significantly in recent times, largely due to the loss of their habitats including seagrasses and soft corals.
Let's talk about the threats to the White's Seahorse, the aims and methods of the conservation project, the seahorse "hotels" being installed in Sydney Harbour, and what we can all do to protect these amazing creatures living on nature's doorstep.
Each talk is 15 minutes long and will be run in conjunction with the Sydney Seahorse Art Exhibition being held at the Coal Loader.
