The Lying Cheating Bastards (a name inspired by a late night discussion of politicians) is a three-piece outfit featuring Damian Spencer on guitars and vocals, Tim Spellman on percussion, and Fred Pilcher on bass guitar and vocals. It's a band that's difficult to pigeonhole. Drawing on Damian's ackground in blues, rock, and country; Tim's experience in rock; and Fred's in rock, country, and folk, their music features an eclectic blend of all those and more. An outsanding feature is Damian's stunning guitar work, ranging from blistering blues, to smooth and flowing jazz feels and contageous Texas swing.
