Event description

Description

Mum's are full of bright business ideas but often feel like there's not enough time, no support and don't know where to start.

This is why My Village News and Start-up hub River City Labs are teaming up to bring you The Long Morning Tea.

The Long Morning Tea is a monthly event for mums ( and dads ) to talk about their ideas and receive support from entrepreneurs who've been there and done that. The Long Morning Tea will be a space to connect with like-minded people who are in the same boat as you are.

Whether you already have an established, emerging or an 'I haven't started yet' business, or you want to come along and share your story to help other mum's - The Long Morning Tea can help you get your business groove back or to start your passion project and give you some hints and tips on turning your side hustle into a full-time business. Connect, Ask and Mix and Mingle is the idea behind The Long Morning Tea.

Following on from our sold out first The Long Morning Tea, this month the event will be held at Bitter Suite Cafe - 75 Welsby Street New Farm.

We will discuss any business ideas or current projects you are working on, and revisit any updates from last months attendees.

Join us for a fuss-free hour of talking about your ideas and supporting each other on the mums, bubs ( and dads ) entrepreneurial journey.

My Village News will be attending the event to document/feature some of the stories from Mums and Dads attending, if you would like to decline being photographed or featured in the publication or our social media platforms, please let us know on the day.

We want to encourage Mums to start on their amazing business ideas!

*Limited number of seats available for this event, reserve your attendance soon. Bubs are welcome!
