Next workshop: Growing Native Plants
Come along to this special twilight workshop to get all the tips and tricks for growing beautiful native plants.
Expert Angie Thomas will share her expertise on planting and growing native plants, including the best things to grow in Sydney, and the versatility of native plants including fantastic new varieties for smaller spaces - with larger flowers and compact growth.
We’ll be getting our hands dirty - with a rare opportunity to actually take part in planting in the Royal Botanic Garden. We'll join the Garden's Horticulturists to plant out some natives in the iconic Australian Rockery, in sight of the Opera House and Harbour Bridge!
The Garden tour will be led by one of our Aboriginal Educators, who will guide you through the Cadi Jam Ora Garden, featuring plants of the Sydney Sandstone Basin. The tour will focus on the connections between Aboriginal people, local plants and culture.
