The Inside Dig is an innovative new workshop where you can share insights on gardening with experts from the Yates Garden Company and the Royal Botanic Garden Sydney in a relaxed and friendly setting.
Each workshop includes:
- Expert presentation from leading horticulturalist, Angie Thomas from Yates
- Hands on, pactical gardening workshop
- Specialist tour with a garden expert around the Royal Botanic Garden Sydney
- Questions, discussions and sharing of gardening stories

Come along to get all the tips and tricks for growing your own tomatoes and other fresh summer delights, including luscious salad greens and fragrant herbs.
Expert Angie Thomas will share her expertise on planting and growing veggies and herbs, including the best things to grow in Sydney, companion planting, and how to get the biggest yield from a small patch!
We’ll be getting our hands dirty with some planting - including seedling heirloom-variety tomatoes and other veggie seeds.
The RBG Garden tour will be lead by horticulturist and historian Paul Nicholson, who will guide you through the fascinating First Farm and the sensory charms of the Herb Garden.
