Event Details

Weakness within the abdominal core musculature leads to a lack of stability at the lumbar spine. This in turn leads to chronic stiffness in the structures beyond the lumbar spine such as the cervical and thoracic spines as the body struggles to find stability.

In this seminar, you will learn -

*  The anatomy of the inner and outer layers of the abdominal core.
*  How poor breathing patterns inhibit the transverse abdominus and pelvic floor transferring stress to the iliopsoas, the adductors and pelvic floor.
*  How chronic neck stiffness may have its origin in a weak non-functional core.
*  Myofascial release of the psoas major, pelvic floor and diaphragm.
*  Strategies to reactivate the core after performing myofascial release.
