That’s right, for the first time in 25 years the GREAT COURT will light up for you and 5000 of your closest mates. We won’t be settling for second best, so start the academic year off right and hit that attending button!!
Tickets
Regular: $15 UQ Student* or $20 General Admission
On the door: $20 UQ Student* or $25 General Admission
Free: Students can sign up for a free ticket if they become a My UQU Rewards Member. Memberships will be available for sale from 5th February. UQ Students will be required to show their membership card on the night.
*UQ Student ticket holders will be required to present a valid UQ Student I.D on the night. Limited tickets will be available to purchase on the door.

Joel Fletcher
Born and raised in Melbourne, Australia – the prodigal son of Melbourne’sunderground dance music scene has come to earn widespread praise and an impressive reputation for his work including hits 'Bring it Back' and 'Loco'.
Alexander Absynth
ABSYNTH (△BSYNTH) are a local DJ duo residing out of Brisbane, Australia. Performed at various clubs throughout Brisbane City & Fortitude Valley their main Genre consists of Modern Mixes + Old School - all the way up to heavier techno genres (Trap, Dubstep etc.).

Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?

The Great Court Party is a 17+ event.

If you have purchased a UQ Student ticket you will be required to present a valid UQ Student ID upon entry.

If you wish to consume alcohol on the night you will need to provide acceptable proof of age identification upon entry to the event in addition to your student ID.

If you have purchased a 'Free ticket' because you are a My UQU Rewards member you will be required to present your membership card upon entry.

Note: A foreign driver licence may be accepted as evidence of age provided it has a photo and the licence holder's date of birth. Where a foreign driver licence is not written in English, an international driver permit issued in the foreign country of origin (and including a photo of the licence holder and translation) must be presented with the foreign driver licence.
What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
Buses: Save your cash and bus it to the event. The Great Court is just a short walk from UQ Lakes and Chancellor’s Place. Make sure you check timetables to confirm last services to ensure you can get home.

Parking is available on campus. The closest car parks are located opposite the athletics track.

Is my registration/ticket transferrable?
Yes it is. If you’re passing your ticket on to someone else you must update the ticket holder details so that the name on the ticket matches the details on their ID.
Please note a UQ Student ID cannot be transfered to a non UQ Student.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
Yes please. Digital copies will be accepted if legible but a printed copy is a safer option.
What is the refund policy?
Refunds will not be issued unless the event is cancelled.
Will their be a coat room?
No. Only bring essential items and remember there will be paint on the night.
Will there be cash machines at the event?
Yes. Although, we recommend bringing cash to avoid lines.
What's your policy on violence?
We'll be enforcing a zero tolerance to violence, so don't be a knob. If you are caught harassing or being violent toward a fellow party goer you’ll be kicked out and banned from all future UQU events.
