Description

YOUR INVITATION TO CONTRIBUTE TO FUTURE POLICY DIRECTIONS ON NATIONAL CHILD AND FAMILY WELLBEING

Families Australia, on behalf of the National Coalition on Child Safety and Wellbeing, warmly invites representatives of community, non-government and research organisations to participate in an important workshop on the future of national child and family wellbeing policy.

The National Framework for Protecting Australia’s Children 2009-2020 is Australia’s first-ever national plan to tackle child abuse and neglect to be endorsed by Commonwealth, State and Territory Governments and the non-government and research sectors.

The challenge

With the National Framework due to conclude in 2020, we need your ideas on directions for a successor national child and family policy agenda. A short background paper is attached here.
