Grounded in trauma informed and relational practice, the training explores how the psychosynthesis model of the psyche sits alongside approaches such as Internal Family Systems, Jungian archetypes, and ego state theory and practice, highlighting both shared principles and important distinctions.
Participants will gain a clear conceptual understanding of subpersonalities, the organising role of self, and the relevance of meaning, value, and purpose in parts work. The workshop emphasises thoughtful clinical application, including language choices, ethical considerations, and working safely with protective and vulnerable parts.
Day one focuses on theory, integration, and experiential exercises that allow practitioners to encounter their own inner system. Day two moves into creative practice, using guided collage to bring parts into symbolic and embodied expression. This process offers a gentle yet powerful way to work with inner dynamics and can be used with clients.
Designed for counsellors, psychotherapists, social workers, and mental health practitioners, this workshop supports clinicians to expand their confidence, depth, and flexibility when working with parts.
