Event description

Description

As part of the Nature Play Festival, join us at the St Kilda Community Hall for free shorebird craft activities. Paint a wooden shorebird to add to the ever migrating Adelaide Flock. To raise community awareness about the threats facing our migratory shorebirds, your bird will join the rest of the Flock as it continues to “fly” between different events around the region. Participants will also have an opportunity to complete additional shorebird crafts that they are able to take home. (For ages 5-12).

About the organisers

Friends of Adelaide International Bird Sanctuary (FAIBS) – Are a group of volunteers that work to improve and raise awareness about the shorebirds that call the AIBS National Park home.

With funding from the AMLR NRM Board the team facilitates community awareness, monitoring and wildlife conservation projects.
