Event description

Description

Business Owners come along! The Fishbowl is the perfect place to be seen - present your business, meet and mix with other local business owners over a cuppa. Connect and build some valuable relationships.

Living and working in the Northern Illawarra?

Our businesses rely on secure and constant internet, phone and mobile service - something that has been lacking in the Northern Illawarra for some time now.

By day, Mark McKenzie is the CEO of a National Industry Association representing the interests of the downstream petroleum industry in Australia. By nights and weekends, Mark leads the 2508+ Disconnected Campaign – a grass-roots community initiative designed to secure a fairer deal for internet users in the Northern Illawarra.

Mark initiated the Campaign after his wife, Karen, had spent 4 ½ years battling with Telstra to connect internet services to their home in Stanwell Park.

Mark will be bringing us up to date with the latest developments with Telstra and the problems being incurred by all with internet and mobile connections not just those committed to contracts with Telstra and Mark will provide advice on how to check your service and the steps you can take to ensure your voice is heard.

Please note: This is a FREE event, however you will be required to purchase a beverage, cakes etc are optional ;-)

The venue has requested that we advise numbers so grab your ticket NOW!! Thanks.
