Description

The Figure in Context: The Human Form in Relation to Landscape and Architecture
With John Pratt

Wednesday, 6pm - 8:30pm

26 February – 1 April 2020

Figure drawing has a rich and diverse history and has arguably delivered or informed some of the most significant artwork in the Western tradition. The studio sessions in this course will explore a selection of these ideas particularly in relation to architectural space and elements of landscape. At the same time, each drawing session will experiment across a wide range of materials and approaches. The course is suitable for all levels of experience including beginners.
