Event description

The Empowered Pussy: 2-day workshop

How do you feel about your vagina and vulva?

Often our body image expectations extend to our genitals: they need to be tight, smooth, tucked, blemish-free, odour-free, STI-free, constantly ready to perform.

For many of us, our pussy obeys strict orders from our mind or external expectations: when to start, when to open, when to stop, who to let in. It’s kinda mechanical.

What does your pussy want? What would it feel like to have full genital self-confidence? To feel like allies with your pussy, rather than estranged, or worse, enemies? What would it feel like to have your pussy as a bestie, a source of power, creativity and badass energy?

This workshop is about deepening your relationship with your vagina and vulva—your pussy—in a way that’s authentically healthy, powerful and pleasurable.

In this workshop, we’ll:
— Begin to let go of body image expectations of our pussies and welcome in genital pride, dignity and self-love (regardless of size, shape, smell, colour, STI status).
— Explore what your pussy really needs and wants—turn up the volume of your pussy, and turn down the volume of mean monkey-mind-control.
— Re-pattern your perceptions about your pussy, claiming back more control, power and voice.
— Start releasing guilt, fear and shame about your pussy and instead bring in a sense of abundance of gratitude, confidence, connection with your genital power-centre.
— Connect with others who have pussies as fierce and loving allies.
— Learn in detail about the female anatomy of pleasure and how to bring more pleasure into your intimate solo/partnered experiences (knowledge is power!).
— Start to clear the womb of what we store in there that doesn’t serve us: tension and trauma
— Heal mistrust between women and wounds with men
— Go beyond the victim and moving into self empowerment

You’ll also receive TWO FREE pussy meditations after the workshop, plus a recommended resource library. So you can take pussy curiosity and love even deeper.

// What we’ll do in the workshop //

This workshop is based on mindful sexuality and Tantra-inspired practices. With a combination of independent, paired and group work, we use a range of techniques to release unhelpful stories, memories and tensions stored in the mind, body and heart.

Meditation, visualisation, dance, deep and full breath, sound and movement, along with emotional release processes are all part of the work. We also dive into anatomy work with practical information.

You’ll only do the stuff you want to do—you’re in your personal sovereignty 100% of the time. The class is fully clothed and while it relates to sexuality, it involves non-sexual interaction.

This workshop is appropriate for singles, couples, and people of all orientations. It's for anyone who has a pussy or chooses to identify their genitals in that way. This workshop is open to cis, trans and non-binary folks.

Keen, but got niggling questions? Check out the FAQs below.

// Who's facilitating? //

Caitlyn Cook

Caitlyn is an international facilitator, practitioner and speaker who's dedicated to freedom and authenticity. What are the ways that hold us back and how can we be free, expressed and full? Trained with the International School of Temple Arts, Caitlyn uses her work in visual and performance art, Tantra-inspired, mindful sexuality and more to explore this and take people on experiential and healing journeys to get free.

Caitlyn used to suffer from clinical depression, anxiety, and disordered eating. It sucked. She found Tantra six years ago (and many other modalities besides) and looooves what it continues to unlock for her—body confidence, trust with others, pleasure, aliveness, authenticity.

Caitlyn has a playful, no BS, and accessible way of teaching mindful sexuality and spiritual/personal development. She celebrates the power of the body and vulnerability and sees this as the place for healing, connection, and empowered living.

Elisa Caro

Elisa Caro is a Vinyasa Yoga teacher and a Tantric facilitator. She’s studied through a range of schools from different lineages: traditional, shamanic, lots. She graduated with Honours in structural and civil engineering, but decided to follow the pull of Tantra. Because it has opened such magic for her: she feels in her body, powerful and self-loving, is equipped to be her most connected, boldest and loving self. She’s a global adventurer (Italiana) with a deep calling for self-development and the passion to share.

// FAQs //

— How challenging will it be?

We’re digging into some pretty big cultural stories and personal issues here. There are often some deep shames and wounds in this area for most people with vaginas. It’s possible we’ll explore territory that feels a bit new or edge-y for you—this is where the healing, expansion, and release lives! We encourage you to be bold and honour your needs throughout the workshop so you always feel safe.

— Do I have to do stuff? Or just listen to you talk?

You have free choice at all times. All exercises are 100% voluntary and you can choose to sit and watch if that is what feels best for you. The workshop will be a little bit of listening, mostly doing. It's experiential—this allows you to learn things & make shifts with your mind, emotions and spirit. Powerful stuff.

— How intimate is this workshop?

This workshop relates to sexuality and sexual organs, but it involves non-sexual interaction. There is no erotic touch between participants. Also, you don’t have to do anything, ever—you’re fully in your personal sovereignty 100% of the time.

— Is it for single people? Or people with partners?

Both: it's suitable for everyone. For people with partners, this workshop can transform your relationship. It’s unlikely your partner would feel threatened, etc. Check in with them, though!

— All genders- and queer-friendly?

This workshop is for anyone who has a pussy or chooses to identify their genitals in that way. This workshop is open to cis, trans and non-binary folks.

— Who else will be there?

Elisa, Caitlyn and Danna. Your friends, and cool people you haven’t met yet. Bring a friend, if you’re nervous or want to have some positive growth experiences together with a favorite pal!

Any other questions, get in touch with Danna!
